Your privacy is important to Maplepop LLC (“Maplepop”, “we”, or “us”). So we have developed a Privacy Policy that covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.

What personal information we collect

When you create a Maplepop account, you will be asked to provide your email address, which will also be used as your Maplepop ID. No other personal information such as your name, address or phone number will be asked for.

How we use your personal information
Your Maplepop ID is used for authentication of services such as synchronization of reading progress data of your books across devices.

Maplepop does not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information
We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect and use non-personal information. The following are some examples of non-personal information that we collect and how we may use it.

We may collect information such as device information, operating system version, language, and the time zone where a Maplepop product or service is used. We also may collect information about user activities in Maplepop apps, services and on our websites. This information is aggregated and used to help Maplepop better understand how our products and services are used. Aggregated data is considered non-personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

Maplepop does not sell, rent or share your non-personal information with third parties.

Protection of Personal Information
Maplepop takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Maplepop online services such as reading progress data synchronization protect your personal information during transit using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Retention of Personal Information
Maplepop will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Children
We understand the importance of taking extra precautions to protect the privacy and safety of children using Maplepop products and services. Children under the age of 13, or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, are not permitted to create their own Maplepop IDs. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Third-Party Sites and Services
Maplepop websites, products, applications, and services may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Our products and services may also use or offer products or services from third parties − for example, a third-party ebook website or an encyclopedia website. Information collected by third parties, which may include such things as your IP Address, is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

For your convenience your login credentials such as user names and passwords for third-party websites may be stored securely with iOS Keychain Services only on the device where you manually enter such information and nowhere else.
